At the exhibition, I portray my permanent states of emergency. I give them the form of paintings, multimedia installations and video work. The motive that almost always appears is the skull. It turns, grins its teeth, is a prop for a video performance. The human head bone theme has been with me for some time and I feel quite comfortable with it. It perfectly symbolizes the moods I fall into during this, for all of us, the surprising period of the post-modern pandemia. The image of the skull is complemented by works from the area of visual text. Using the simplest possible augmented reality procedures, I hide the inscriptions in the pictures. Abstract paintings are full of names, sentences and words. Following the example of fun with invisible ink, I hide content for people determined to empathize with my states of emergency.
